The following students have been named to the Champlain College Dean's List for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in the spring 2018 semester.

Assumption College has announced that 590 students have been named to the College's prestigious undergraduate Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester.

Some 3,072 students were awarded degrees during the University of Vermont's 217th commencement ceremonies. Alexander Nemerov, alumnus and one of the nations' leading art historians and scholar of cultural history, delivered the address.

Each Spring, Holyoke Community College recognizes students with honors and awards for outstanding achievement and performance in a wide array of academic areas and extracurricular pursuits. These students received awards for the 2017-2018 academic year and were honored at a ceremony on Wed., May 23, in HCC's Leslie Phillips Theater. Congratulations!

This year's graduate address was given by Marcia McNutt, president of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) and the first woman to serve in this role.

The following students graduated from Paul Smith's College on May 12, 2018.

Lasell College held its 164th commencement on May 12, granting 398 Baccalaureate degrees and 125 Master's degrees, before an audience packed with family, friends, and members of the Lasell community on Taylor Field. Commencement speaker Donato Tramuto, president and founder of the nonprofit Health eVillages, shared with graduates his steps toward success with many stories from his own experiences growing up and becoming a corporate leader. The audience also heard messages from Lasell College President Michael B. Alexander, who addressed both undergraduate and graduate recipients. Alexander encouraged them to dream big and to embrace opportunities for personal and professional growth.

On Sunday, May 13, Assumption College awarded 617 degrees during its 101st Commencement exercises held at the DCU Center in downtown Worcester, MA, in which speaker The Most Reverend Robert E. Barron, S.T.D., auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and evangelist who uses various forms of media, in particular social media, to share the Gospel message and one of the most-followed Catholics on social media, delivered the Commencement address.

The following students have been named to the dean's list at Bates College for the winter semester ending in April 2018.

The Holyoke Community College Foundation awards more than $200,000 in endowed scholarships each year to new, current and transferring students. These scholarships have been made possible through the generosity of alumni, friends, faculty, trustees and community-minded corporations. Congratulations to this year's 223 recipients, a new HCC record!

Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.3 or higher while completing at least three courses for a conventional letter grade earn the fall 2017 Dean's Award for Academic Excellence.

Seventy-eight students were selected to present an original academic research project at Assumption College's 24th Annual Undergraduate Symposium, which was held April 23-24 on the College's Worcester Campus.

Every Spring, the HCC Fine Arts Department holds a Student Art Exhibition, displays student art throughout the campus and presents a variety of awards. This year's exhibition runs through May 3. Awards were announced Thurs., April 19, during a reception in the HCC Library lobby.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its fall 2017 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

Nichols College has recognized over 500 students who achieved Dean's List status for their academic work during the fall 2017 semester.

Lasell College announced today the students named to the fall 2017 Dean's List. Students with this accomplishment are full-time degree candidates who completed 12 or more credits in the fall semester, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. This semester's Dean's List encompasses students from all class years and over 30 majors, including 157 members of the school's freshman class.

Assumption College has announced that 551 students have been named to the College's prestigious undergraduate Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester.

Each academic term, Holyoke Community College recognizes superior scholarship through the Dean's List. A student is placed on the Dean's List if his or her G.P.A. is 3.2 or higher. These students have earned Dean's List honors for the Fall 2017 term.

Select students have been named to the Fall 2017 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

Holyoke Community College is proud to announce the newest members of the Alpha Xi Omega Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Forty-seven HCC students were honored during an induction ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 26. This special event recognizes students who have demonstrated academic achievement according to the Phi Theta Kappa standards. Students are invited to join Phi Theta Kappa when they have completed 15 college credits with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
